Only 5 min to downtown Salida & 25 min to Monarch Ski! Offering a 2 bedroom, 1 bath private 1 story house + sleeper sofa. Treed 2 acre property with mountain views & park-like setting with 2 private decks in addition to a shared "community deck" with seasonal creek (Apr-Oct) & meadow. Please note the basement of the airbnb is privately locked off for storage and the acreage is shared with a separate house. Only 100% cotton sheets & natural detergents, no scented sprays used. Lic #012284 The space Methodist Mountain hiking and biking trails are only minutes from the house as well as the Monarch Spur trail into downtown Salida. Your stay will include the entire main floor of the larger house on the property with a private W/D, two decks w/ patio furniture, shed for bike and kayak storage and multiple parking spots next to the house. The basement of the house is separately secured for storage and owner laundry. There is a fold down couch that can be used as a 3rd bed with linens provided. The guest storage shed has a combo lock and you're also welcome to bring your own. There is a 3rd "community deck" at the center of the property as well as a meadow with creek that are shared with the 2 other people that live on the property. Airbnb Unit Specifications: - Sleeps 4 - 2 bedrooms, each with queen bed - 1 fold down couch in living room, sleeps 1 -No A/C but many ceiling fans and screened windows (the area usually cools down at night) - Full sized washer and dryer -Desk in larger bedroom - Full kitchen (spices, oils, Tupperware, pans) - Living room w/ smart tv & Paramount+ streaming - Formal dining area, seating for 4 - Small eat-in kitchen seating for 4 - Bathroom w/ 2 sinks, tub & rain shower combo - 2 back decks w/ dining set & yoga area including 2 mats - Front porch with 2 comfy chairs - 1 outdoor storage shed with combo lock - Parking for up to 3 vehicles - Additional shared meadow, stream and deck -The fireplace has 9 remote controlled candles that create a fire-like ambiance (wood burning isn’t allowed) Guest access Guests will enter the front door of the house right into the unit from the parking area on the side of the house next to the shed. The shed is an area dedicated to the Airbnb where bikes or kayaks can be stored. There is a provided combination lock and another area to add your own lock in addition if you'd like. There are 3 parking spots included with the house, if you need extra parking, please message the host for instruction. You’ll have the entire private main floor of the house (basement is locked off for storage) with gorgeous expansive decks and mountain views. Other things to note -please note there is no A/C, it’s not very common in high mountain towns as the area cools well at night and the windows have screens. There are ceiling fans in each room as well as box fans in each bedroom closet. -for the scent sensitive/averse, we don't use artificial products for scents or any products with a strong smell. For detergent, we use Sea Salt by Zum. -there are 3 people total that live on the property in separate buildings. -the fireplace has 9 remote controlled candles that create a fire-like ambiance.
