The Grey Bull - Haltwhistle

The Grey Bull is is a beautifully converted 9 bedroom, 9 bathroom former 19th century coaching inn, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, in the market town of Haltwhistle, close to the River Tyne . Haltwhistle is located directly in the heart of Great Britain and is home to woodland, quirky shops and restaurants, as well as home to the regions only open-air swimming pool and a section of Hadrian’s Wall. The property provides self catering holiday accommodation for up to 18 people. The space You’ll have full access to the property during your stay, which includes a breakfast room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a games room, a bar, a cinema room, a living room area, nine bedrooms, nine bathroom and outdoor space with seating for 18 people. As you enter the property, to the left is the breakfast room which has a large centre island, a microwave and an American style fridge freezer. This leads onto a modern well-equipped kitchen which has 2 dishwashers, a second fridge freezer, a range cooker, 2 eye level ovens, hob, and 2 toasters. On the right, opposite the entrance to the breakfast room is the living room which is the perfect spot to relax and socialise with your loved ones. Further down the hall is the dining room which has a large dining table seating 18 so you can gather everyone together and enjoy meals as a group. There is also a selection of board games. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema room with a 75" TV, a smart DVD player and surround sound. There is also a bedroom on the ground floor, with a shower room next to it. All 8 upstairs bedrooms are en-suite and bedroom 6 has a bath. On the middle floor there are 4 bedrooms, Bedroom 1 - twin beds, Bedroom 2 –King size bed, Bedroom 7 – Super King bed, Bedroom 8 – King size bed There is a games room with a full size pool table, table football and a CD jukebox. This room leads onto a bar, with a bar fridge and a 3rd dishwasher, the perfect area to enjoy a few drinks with friends and family. There is a laundry room outside with a washing machine and a tumble drier. Outside you’ll find parking for 6 cars, and outdoor seating. The top floor has 4 more bedrooms. Bedroom 3 – Super King size bed, Bedroom 4 – Double bed, Bedroom 5 – Double, Bedroom 6 – Super King size bed. The Super-King size beds can be split into two singles, making the house suitable for groups of couples and also families. The cottage is available all year round for long or short breaks. Guest access Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the Grey Bull are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check-in. Ample private on-site parking for 6 cars is available. There is also street parking for more cars if required. Two high chairs are available to guests .Two travel cots are also available.
