Trulli MAA, design rural retreat with pool, Puglia

Set amidst three hectares of ancient olive groves in Puglia, trulli MAA is a charming country house renovated into a minimalist holiday home with private swimming pool where you can unwind and reconnect with nature. We are three architects who have worked tirelessly on Trulli MAA to finish it to a standard we can be proud of, we hope you will love it just as much as we do. The space The property comfortably caters for six people, its authentic and modern interiors boast three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The property is subdvided into two main areas, the main core of the trulli-suite comprising a master bedroom with en-suite (the largest cone) which is accessed via a cosy living area that also connects through to the kitchen / dining and an independently accessed lamie-suite comprising of two double bedrooms each with own en-suite bathroom. The property has a private swimming pool is available for guests, the pool is 12,5m long, enough for some laps and it features a long bench for relaxing and socialising. Guest access You are welcome to use the house, immediate grounds and explore the land. The beauty of trulli MAA lays in the extensive grounds that surround the property, dotted with olive and almond trees as well as many fruit trees. On the land there are three other individual trulli, which you are welcome to explore with care as they have been abandoned for a long time, we plan to refurbish them all slowly. There are two roads that lead to the house, the most direct route includes 700m of dirt road - country roads in Puglia can be narrow so might not be suitable for very large vehicles, there is also a larger one that is asphalt almost all the way to our site. Ask Riccardo if you are uncomfortable driving on country roads. Check-in from 15:00 - 20:00 Check-out between 08:00 - 10:00 Check-in and check-out between 20:00 and 08:00 has a €60 charge to be paid to Riccardo, unless otherwise agreed. Access is not permitted to the technical rooms with the plant and equipment that serve the house nor to the railway track that cuts through the land at the back of the property. Very few commuter trains a day, mostly empty. Other things to note At Trulli MAA we have our very own well and a water tank that cleverly stores the water that is used throughout the property. Our water is softened and filtered and whilst it fine for showering, brushing your teeth and cooking (one boiled), it is not ideal for drinking; so as with most properties in Puglia, we ask you to buy bottled water for that purpose.
