Acurui is a 16th-century village, located on the old Sabarabuçu road of the royal road. It is located between Ouro Preto, 35 km away, and Itabirito, 20 km away. Acurui has historic architecture with beautiful mansions and two churches from the early 17th century and several waterfalls in its surroundings, connecting the Uaimii environmental reserve and Gandarela National Park. The village has some restaurants serving traditional Minas Gerais food and local products, such as pastel de angu, homemade sweets, craft beer, etc. The space Newly built inn with that Minas Gerais hospitality in a quiet and harmonious place.
