The Mocha Room 2nd Floor Bedroom Private Bath

We welcome singles (no additional guests or couples) to the Mocha Room. Filled with an mix of vintage furniture it is a comfy getaway for you. Close to shopping and restaurants in a NW suburban neighborhood. Easy highway access. We are about 25 miles NW of downtown Mpls. We are 45 minutes from Minneapolis-St Paul International airport (MSP) and about 40 minutes from Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. Parking is in our driveway for one car or pickup truck only. We will assign you a space. The space The Mocha Room is located on the second floor of our suburban family home. Once inside the front door of the house you will need to climb a full flight of stairs to the second floor. There are two handrails on this stairway. The room is furnished with a full size bed with a good quality medium firm mattress. Vintage quality furniture fills the room along with a 42" television. The TV has the many over-the-air digital stations plus ROKU TV streaming. There is an under counter size refrigerator for your beverages and food items. Along with a Keurig coffee maker and hot tea. A large closet allows for storage and hanging clothing you may have. The door has a privacy lock on it for while you are in the room. The private full bathroom is just next door. Basic body wash, shampoo/conditioner and towels are provided. We are generally quiet and drama free. Your privacy is respected unless you would like to get to know us a bit. Light alcohol use please. No smoking or vaping in the house please. Guest access The kitchen and the laundry area are available for your use. Please let us help you get started with those areas. The shaded enclosed front porch is a cooler place to sit on a hot day. Or sun yourself on our south facing deck. You will be given a front door lock code so you may come and go as needed. During your stay We are available to help you get to know the area and provide recommendations on shopping and restaurants. We keep busy ourselves with house maintenance, working part time and helping out with our grandchildren. We respect your privacy but don't be surprised if we say hello and try to get to know you a bit. Other things to note Transportation is primarily by car. Public transportation is limited. Uber is very active in the area and can possibly be a transportation alternative. We will assign you a parking spot in our driveway after you book. There is room for on car or pickup truck only. Same day reservations are accepted, subject to availability.
