Welcome to The House on a Farm, a cozy retreat on our 75-acre working farm. The 1,600-sq-ft home features an open living area, master bedroom, galley kitchen, one large bath, laundry room, and a bunk nook (full bottom, twin top) sleeping up to 6. This is an animal-lover stay — goats may visit the porch and farm life includes animal sights, sounds, and manure. A peaceful half-mile gravel driveway leads you here. If you love animals, it's a great place to stay! The space Escape the city and enjoy the rhythms of real farm life. You might see goats lounging on the porch, chickens scratching near the fence, or a pig waddling by to say hello. This is an authentic, hands-on farm, not a petting zoo — there’s fresh air, morning roosters, and a bit of manure now and then. Guests often describe it as peaceful, grounding, and full of unexpected charm. Inside, you’ll find all the modern comforts you need — Wi-Fi, central air, washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen — paired with the simplicity of rural living. Step outside to enjoy a sunrise coffee, grill on the back patio, or take a leisurely walk through the pastures at sunset. Guest access The House on a Farm sits down a quiet country road with a scenic half-mile gravel driveway. You’ll have full access to the home, patio, and open walking areas around the property. Feel free to explore, snap photos, or just relax while watching the animals graze. Farm dogs may wander by to greet you, and you’ll likely hear the sounds of daily farm life — roosters crowing, cows calling, and tractors working in the distance. Other things to note Please note that we are on a septic system, so only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. Please avoid putting any food or other items down the sink disposal.
