Private Mid-Century home: Creek, Nature & Hot tub

Our house is great for gathering friends & family in a beautiful and natural setting. It's the perfect country escape for rest and relaxation. We have a creek for cooling off and land to hike if you want to be more active. Short driving distances to cafes, restaurants, book stores, golf courses, and shops all over the Catskills. We are between Margaretville (5 mins) and Roxbury (12) for access to all the town necessities while still a reasonable distance to Delhi, Andes and Phoenicia. The space Located on a secluded hill overlooking a beautiful meadow with a surrounding creek, this chic home comfortably fits families or individuals looking to get away. There is land to explore or admire around the house and a swimming hole in the creek. Our hot tub is only available for use when the temperatures are above 25 degrees. Its an eco-friendly and chemical-free. It is a wood-fired aluminum hot tub to be enjoyed after a long hike or day on the nearby ski mountain. Some people also like to use it as a cold plunge! IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOT TUB: WHAT TO EXPECT - It is a 600 gallon tub, 100% chemical-free, and naturally heated with wood. It is quiet, peaceful, and designed for a slower, more intentional experience. IMPORTANT TO NOTE - this is NOT an instant electric spa. Heating requires active tending and takes time, often several hours, depending on weather and attention. If the fire is not maintained by guests during their stay, the tub may take longer than expected to heat or may not heat at all. WHAT WE DO TO HELP - Whenever possible, we refill the tub and start the fire before arrival as a courtesy, but this is not guaranteed. WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM GUESTS - Adding wood and tending the fire is necessary for use. Results depend on ongoing attention and conditions. On weekend stays, guests who prefer a “set it and forget it” hot tub may find this disappointing. BOTTOM LINE - Guests who enjoy hands-on, low-impact experiences tend to love it. Those seeking instant heat with no effort may find this hot tub to not be the right fit. By booking, guests acknowledge that the wood-fired hot tub is not an instant spa and requires time, attention, and favorable conditions to heat.
