Description

Take a deep breath and relax. This light filled cabin is the perfect place to slow down for a few days. Just a little more than 60 minutes from the Twin Cities. You'll enjoy the great views of Lake Pokegama from the back deck as well as over 100 feet of private shoreline. The garage offers pickleball as well as other games. Sauna is up and running! This is NOT a house for parties. NOTE: Lake Pokegama is fed by the Snake River. It can turn green in late summer along the shore. The space This house boasts four bedrooms and three separate living rooms. There is an upper yard and a lower yard with a dock and beach. Your group will have plenty of space and gorgeous views. The deck off the back of the house offers a place to relax with sight of sunrises and sunsets. You'll be less than 10 minutes from Pine City, where you can grocery shop or find a good bite to eat. Guest access The whole house is yours! Other things to note If the dock is pulled in for the season, do not play on the pieces on the lawn. As seen in the pictures, there is a long staircase down to the water. Please consider this when booking. Only registered guests allowed. This is NOT a house for parties. My neighbors are full time residents and quiet hours must be observed from 10pm-8am. There may be some firewood on premises, but it isn't guaranteed. To be sure you have good, dry firewood, you should bring your own. There are a number of youth life jackets available in the boat house and three adult life jackets. Fit is not guaranteed, so bring your own if you are concerned. There is a lily pad, two kayaks, a paddle board and some noodles available to use. Lake Pokegama is fed by the Snake River. It is a clean lake but not a clear lake. Rental Agreement: VACATION RENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT This Vacation Rental Lease Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the guest renter (“Guest”), whether one or more, and Golden Heel Properties LLC (“Owner”) regarding the vacation property known as “The Lookout on the Lake’” located at 15899 Sunset Trail, Pine City MN (“Vacation Property”). This Agreement constitutes a contract between Guest and Owner. Please read this Agreement carefully. It is the responsibility of the Guest to understand and acknowledge all the terms and conditions in this Agreement. Guest agrees that s/he will be present at the Vacation Property for the entire duration of the reservation and that s/he will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each member of the group or authorized visitor(s) (“Group Member”) present at the Vacation Property. This includes ensuring that each Group Member or authorized visitor(s) present at the Vacation Property is aware of and in compliance with the terms and conditions as set forth in this Agreement. If you are booking this Vacation Property through a third-party, i.e., VRBO or Airbnb, this Agreement may also be subject to that third-party’s terms and conditions. In the event of any discrepancy between this Agreement and the third-party’s terms and conditions, this Agreement shall prevail unless specifically stated otherwise. Any payment of money direct or otherwise or occupancy of the Vacation Property shall constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 1. OCCUPANCY DATES: It is expressly understood and agreed that this is a short-term rental based on the reservation dates made through a third-party, i.e., VRBO, or as agreed otherwise in writing directly with Owner (“Occupancy Dates”). In the event the reservation is made directly with Owner, the Occupancy Dates shall be set forth in an attached Vacation Rental Addendum, if applicable. 1. HOUSE RULES: The house rules (“House Rules”) attached as Exhibit A hereto are incorporated into this Agreement. Please review the House Rules carefully as violation(s) may result in the termination of this Agreement, additional fees or liquidated damages, denial of entry or immediate removal from the Vacation Property, and/or forfeiture of all amounts paid including any deposits 2. NO LIABILITY, INDEMNIFICATION, HOLD HARMLESS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Owner shall be indemnified and held harmless by Guest, each Group Member or visitor for any liabilities, damages, costs or expenses whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with use or occupancy of the Vacation Property, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injuries, damages, fines, penalties, loss or theft of personal property, which is made, incurred, or sustained by any individual at the Vacation Property during the Occupancy Dates. Guest, each Group Member and any visitor(s) at the Vacation Property during the Occupancy Dates accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of any activities or amenities available at the Vacation Property, including, but limited to, watercrafts, use of fire pit, and lake activities. 3. SIGNATURE: A signature is not required to make this Agreement enforceable. Acceptance of this Agreement is deemed when payment is made. 4. ACCEPTANCE: This Agreement shall become binding upon receipt of any payment whether paid directly to Owner or a third-party and constitutes acceptance and agreement to the terms, conditions, limitations, and restrictions hereunder. EXHIBIT A: HOUSE RULES Thank you for choosing The Lookout on the Lake as your vacation property. Our house rules are intended to allow full enjoyment during your stay, while respecting our neighbors and property. The basic rule is to act in a civilized and respectful manner as you would in your own home. 1. NO SMOKING: There is absolutely no smoking, vaping, e-cigarette use permitted anywhere inside. The no smoking policy is strictly enforced with no exceptions. 2. NO PETS: Due to allergy issues of some guests, pets or animals are not permitted, whether inside or outside. 3. QUIET HOURS: Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM (Central Time). 4. CONDUCT AND NOISE: Please avoid excessive noise, foul or lewd language, and other disturbances. 5. FIREPIT: Do not leave fire pit unattended when in use. The fire must always be under control and not excessive. Basically, no large fires that are a danger to you or others. 6. BED LINENS: Upon check out, please strip beds(remove duvet cover, pillow case and fitted sheet) and leave at foot of each bed. Please place all used towels in the bath tub or white laundry basket in the laundry room. 7. KITCHEN: All kitchen items used must be washed and the dishwasher emptied at check-out. 8. GARBAGE: At check-out, please gather and place all garbage in the can outside garage.
