Description

Recharge beside a lake with beautiful sun sets and the sounds of birds and frogs. Good road access. Off the electric grid. Book 3 nights on a long weekend and we will throw in the fourth night for free. The Camper has an add-on room which includes an outdoor kitchen, table, chairs and sitting area, fire pit. Private dock. (This camper is one of 3 rentals on the property.) Noise carries on the lake and therefore all night parties are not an option. Quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am. The space This is a refurbished vintage trailer with bright LED solar battery powdered lights, propane fridge and stove. There is a small freezer in the fridge. Couch folds down into double bed and table folds down into double bed. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. In the north it can cool down significantly at night, bring warmer bedding than you would think you need. Sleeping bags that zip up work best. There is a charcoal bbq and a small propane bbq. BRING YOUR OWN CHARCOAL OR ONE POUND PROPANE TANKS. One wheelbarrow of firewood is provided and you can purchase additional wheelbarrows at $10 each. Guest access Guest have access to 2 docks at the waters' edge. We currently have 5 kayaks, 2 canoes and a 4 person paddle boat. We have 6 adult life jackets and a few child sized life jackets Life Jackets must be worn when using our boats. Other things to note We have a spot on the property where most cell phone service will work to do calls and text. We suggest you keep your phone on airplane mode until you want to check messages, otherwise the battery will die fast searching for signal. The rest of the property does not have reliable service. One of our neighbours let us use their wifi, so we can get messages out if you need us to. Nearest convenience store and LCBO is about 15 minutes away. We suggest that you do a full grocery shopping before you come. We suggest that you fill up with fuel in Huntsville (if coming from south) or North Bay (if coming from the north) as the fuel becomes more expensive in the small communities. Our beach area is undeveloped. You should bring water shoes if you have them. We have two docks. One on left is for swimming and fishing, and the other to the right side is for launching boats. You can fish right off the dock. (You will need to be aware of the fishing bylaws and have appropriate licenses.) There are 6 adult life jackets available and a few child size life jackets. Life jackets must be worn by anyone using our boats. We have cases of drinking water available for you. Restoule Provincial Park is not far away and has some really breath taking hiking trails. Previous campers have recommended people see the Screaming Heads of Midlothian near Burks Falls. My husband Mario or myself (or maybe both of us) will greet you when you arrive.
