Cabin in Akron

Located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, this beautiful cabin has the capacity to house 6 guests with two full bedrooms and a cozy loft space. Located within a camping and lodging area nestled on the side of the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley, guests will find themselves immersed in nature and central to all that the Cuyahoga Valley National Park has to offer. The space This cabin is located within Valley Overlook, a private Lodging and Campground area surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. During your stay, feel free to walk/hike around the property. Please stay on the road when around the other sites and cabins, and respect the privacy of our other guests. Hike our beautiful trail to a scenic overlook with a beautiful westward across the valley. The trail entrance is on our map, which we will send in a message before check-in. Proper hiking footwear and attire is recommended. This cabin space includes: Bedroom 1: king bed Bedroom 2: king bed Loft: 2 twin xl mattresses on the floor Kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, cooktop) Common area Front porch Restroom with shower Guest access This beautiful cabin is located in Valley Overlook Campground. This cabin is self check-in with parking available in our parking lot, next to the office. It's about a 2 minute walk from our parking lot to the cabin. We have a wagon in the parking area to help move any items you might have. Visitors and extra guests are not permitted without prior written approval. Other things to note Before you book: • No pets • No visitors • Must be 21+ to book • The person making the reservation must be the one staying • No outside tents or structures permitted • No outside firewood* *Moving firewood is regulated by state and federal authorities, and can spread destructive insects to local forests. We have USDA - APHIS - PPQ certified firewood for sale at market rate. The cabin will be ready any time after 4pm. We can sometimes coordinate an early check-in for a fee of $30. If you're interested in this option, please send a message with the time you hope to arrive, and we will let you know if we can accommodate this request. We provide one set of linens and towels per reservation. This cabin is a short 2 minute walk from our parking lot. On some evenings, concerts at our neighbor, Blossom Music Center may be audible. The farm across the street utilizes propane cannons during the day for a few weeks out of the year to deter birds from eating their corn. Firewood is available on-site for $10 per bundle; all payments will be handled through Airbnb. You may notice firewood bundles at your cabin; these are also priced at $10 per bundle if you use them. Firewood is not included in the reservation price. Gathering wood in the forest is not allowed. Bringing firewood from outside is strictly prohibited, and strictly regulated by state and federal authorities. Please do not bring outside wood, as it can transport invasive pests. We have a beautiful trail on-site. You will receive a map before check-in that shows the trailhead. Plan to bring a flashlight, as it can get dark in the woods at night!
