The vacation apartment "Marquardt 165" is located on the fourth floor of a 4-story house in the listed holiday estate of the famous designer and architect Arne Jacobsen. The ensemble on the south beach in Burgtiefe is a prime example of the functional architecture of modernity propagated by Jacobsen. After beautiful days on the beach, enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony, with a fantastic view of the harbor entrance. The holiday resort is surrounded by water on three sides. In the north the marina, in the west the entrance to the fishing port Burgstaaken and in the south the wide and most beautiful sandy beach of Fehmarn. The marina with its round jetty and the fantastic south beach are each only about 180 m away. You will find a bakery within walking distance that refines your breakfast with its delicious rolls. Furthermore, there is a shop at the marina and on the beach promenade where all the necessary things for life can be found. The FehMare adventure pool, also located on the south beach, offers a great "beach feeling" with its view of the sea and the wave pool with sea water, even in somewhat rougher weather. In the immediate vicinity of the marina are an e-charging station and public barbecue stations. After beautiful days on the beach, enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony, with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea, the harbor exit and the beach. In the immediate vicinity of the beach you will find restaurants, cafés, playgrounds, toilets, showers and a changing room. Parking / bicycle The apartment has a fixed car parking space which is available to you free of charge for your stay. Wellness / Laundromat At the marina, about 150 m away, you will find a laundromat with washing machines and dryers. Within walking distance of the apartment is the year-round seawater wave and adventure pool with sauna "FehMare". The use of the swimming pool and laundry is subject to a fee. Things to do Right in front of the apartment is the "Burger Binnensee", one of the best surfing areas in Germany with surfing school and rental of the famous Charchulla twins. - In the apartment "Backbord" you are right in the middle of it. – What are you in the mood for? – Fishing, diving, surfing, kiting, sailing, golfing, boules, beach volleyball, geocaching, horseback riding, tennis or climbing, a restaurant visit or a view of the many Fehmarn sights You now have the option to book a beach chair (near your booked property or at the dog beach section) and/or e-bikes for your stay with us. FAULTY ELEVATOR: Unfortunately, the elevator is currently faulty. This should be repaired /renewed by Pentecost 2025.
