Heritage-listed country cottages
Rural dream home in the heritage-listed Arrendatorns Bostad from the 18th century.
Description
Welcome to our paradise! Arrendator's residence is a romantic, nostalgic, and unique accommodation for those who want to experience the feeling of staying like before. Perfect for a romantic couple or a family. Here, in a newly restored, heritage-listed home, you can enjoy the quiet, light a fire, cook on a cast-iron stove, collect eggs from the hens, pet the goats, rabbits, and horses, and walk or bike to the lake. The pool and sundeck are open throughout the summer, and a sauna is available on request. The space The tenant's residence is one of the rectory's charming and cultural heritage cottages that have been carefully restored to preserve the unique environment. The walls are clay-lined and painted with homemade egg oil tempera, the floor tiles are wide and worn, the ceilings are low and the cozy factor is huge! You can cook the food on the wood-fired iron stove and it is also possible to bake in the brick oven. If it is cold, the cottage is quickly heated with a fire in the pipe stove or in the stove on the upper floor. A portable induction hob is available, but to preserve the silence and not disturb the antique environment, a fridge and microwave have been placed in the back cottage right next door. For convenience, a modern bathroom with shower and underfloor heating has been discreetly added. The bedrooms are located in the cozy attic and the beds in the bedrooms are new and comfortable. Guest access The garden around the cottages is available with garden furniture and a barbecue grill. The family pool is available between 12-16 or by appointment. Three adult-sized bicycles are available to borrow and it takes about 8 minutes to cycle to the lake, where it is nice to swim and fish. Other things to note The stairs to the bedrooms may be unsuitable for people with back problems or similar due to the low ceiling in some places.
