Bedrooms: Bedroom #1, "The Classic": The largest bedroom, featuring a queen-size bed and a large walk-in closet. With three windows, you can enjoy the scenic view of the woods from multiple angles. Blackout roller shades ensure a peaceful night's rest. Bedroom #2, "The Woods": A cozy room with a double bed and a small walk-in closet, located on the opposite side of the house, closer to the trees. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a dimmed, cozy atmosphere and a bit more privacy, without being too far from the group. A blackout roller shade on the window adds to the tranquility. Bedroom #3, "Stargaze": A unique loft-style bedroom featuring a double bed beneath one of two skylights, allowing you to watch the stars while lying in bed. With wooden stairs and a ladder leading up to this space, it offers a fun and adventurous vibe, making it the most interesting room in the house (in the host’s opinion! 😉). Bedroom #4, "Attic in Stargaze": This cozy loft above the Stargaze room features two twin beds, offering a peaceful and private space for rest. Kitchen & Bathrooms: The state-of-the-art kitchen has a sleek, contemporary feel with quartz countertops, black cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an embedded flat induction cooktop. Basic cooking essentials, along with coffee and tea, are provided for your convenience. Main Floor: A 3-piece full bathroom is available, and a 2-piece powder room is conveniently located near the entrance for guests. The area at the far end contains the Furnace and Utility Room, which is locked and not accessible to guests. Please refrain from trying to access this area. Bedroom #1 - "Classic": There is a storage space beside the bed that is not for guest use. For your safety, please do not attempt to access this space. Bedroom #3 - "Stargaze": A storage space is located in this room, which is also off-limits to guests. Again, for safety reasons, please avoid climbing into this space. Apart from the areas mentioned above, the rest of Charcoal Tree House is fully accessible and ready for you to enjoy! Other things to note ** We have obtained the Short-Term Rental Accommodation License from the Town of Gravenhurst for Charcoal Tree House ** ** This property currently does not provide baby furniture, like high chair and crib, etc. it is not baby proof. ** ** This property has stairs, please pay attention to your own safety.** Noise Policy: We want you to have a great getaway vacation, but our neighbors deserve peaceful enjoyments too. So please keep sounds in a reasonable level all day. We have zero-tolerance on parties. Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and outdoors, including common areas and deck. The policy applies but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookahs, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers. Violating the policy can result in additional cleaning fees and even removal from the platform. Fire rules: No burning of candles in and out. Open-air fire in the Town of Gravenhurst between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. between the months of April and October of each year is prohibited. Fully enclosed barbecues SUPERVISED at ALL TIMES is an exemption. If you wish to have further information on the township by-laws, please contact me. Pet Policy: We allow one dog per reservation. There is a one-time pet fee of $100, and you will need to add a pet (when adding guests) at time of booking request. Dog MUST be outdoor housetrained (NO pee pads). No cat please, sorry. This property has some spots where the cat can hide (as the cat lovers and owners, we know well about that), we don't want your enjoyment time to be occupied by looking for your beloved little furry friend. Bring slippers or indoor shoes. The township will also be collecting a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT), charged on the base rate, cleaning fees, pet fees, and extra-guest fees, and it is included in the tax on this listing. For stays longer than 5 days, housekeeping services are available for an extra fee. Please inquire if you are interested. Charcoal Tree House is using drill well water (under-sink water filter is installed in kitchen, one Brita Filter Pitcher is provided) and septic system.
