Spring and summer bring soft sunlight through the windows and a fresh, airy energy that makes the home feel open and welcoming. Living Room: Comfortable seating, a 54” Smart TV with streaming, board games, and a piano. Perfect for slow mornings, movie nights, or unwinding after a day exploring nearby attractions or nature. Dining Area: A table that works for family meals, coffee, or spreading out laptops while planning your day. Kitchen: Fully stocked with all the basics and thoughtful extras to make cooking simple and enjoyable, from quick breakfasts to full dinners. Bedrooms: Two queen bedrooms on the main level and one king upstairs. Cozy beds, quality linens, and calm spaces for a restful night after busy days. Kids’ Space: A dedicated play area with toys, bean bags, and a play kitchen. Pack ’n Play and toddler mattress included for families traveling with little ones. The home flows naturally and feels warm and inviting. I’ve tried to make every space comfortable and easy to use so you feel like you’re staying with family or close friends, relaxed, cared for, and completely at ease. Guest access Enjoy exclusive access to the entire home during your stay. All living areas, the fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and private garage, including EV charging, are yours to use, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a seamless home away from home experience. Self checkin is simple and flexible with secure keyless entry, allowing you to arrive at your convenience. Clear, step by step access instructions will be provided prior to check-in. I offer a concierge style hosting experience. I am available daily from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM for general questions, local recommendations, or assistance, and 24/7 for urgent matters. Whether you need help navigating the home or exploring the area, I’m always just a message away. No Parties or Events The Gilded Cottage is a quiet, private home and does not permit parties, events, or gatherings of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, birthday celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette events, receptions, or post-event gatherings. Violation of this policy may result in immediate cancellation without refund, in accordance with the party-prevention standards. Registered Guests Only Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property at any time. Visitors or additional guests require prior written approval. Unauthorized guests may result in reservation termination and additional charges. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM. Excessive noise, loud music, or disruptive behavior is not permitted at any time. Repeated or serious noise concerns may result in cancellation without refund. No Smoking or Vaping This is a strictly non-smoking property, including cigarettes, vaping, e-cigarettes, and marijuana. Smoking anywhere on the property may result in additional cleaning, deodorization, damage fees, and possible removal. Care of the Home & Damages Guests are expected to treat the home with care and leave it in reasonable condition. Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover will be documented and charged per the damage and reimbursement policies. Please report accidental damage promptly so we can address it quickly. Check-In & Check-Out • Check-in: 3:00 PM or later • Check-out: 11:00 AM Early check-in or late check-out must be approved in advance and is subject to availability. Cleanliness & Comfort The home is professionally cleaned between every stay. Each bedroom includes an air purifier, and the home features a high-filtration air system and whole-home water softener for enhanced comfort.
