Our apartment is located in the heart of Urspring, a district of the municipality of Steingaden in beautiful Upper Bavaria. We have designed this little gem with a lot of love for detail. An external staircase leads to the separate staircase of the apartment. Another flight of stairs leads to the attic. There you will find the approximately 80 square meter, light-flooded vacation home. From the balcony you can enjoy the magnificent view of the lush green meadows and the imposing Ammergau Alpine chain. We have designed this little gem with a lot of love for detail. Our apartment is located in the heart of Urspring, a district of the municipality of Steingaden in beautiful Upper Bavaria. With about 400 inhabitants, the village is surrounded by the Ammergauer Alps and the Urspringer Lechstausee on the edge of the Pfaffenwinkel. The Pfaffenwinkel is known for its high density of monasteries and churches, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wieskirche, which characterize our landscape. Urspring is geographically very centrally located. Both larger cities such as Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf as well as the nearby Austrian Lech or Tannheim Valley can be reached in about an hour. The surrounding mountains and lakes offer numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, water sports, swimming or simply relaxing and enjoying nature - often right outside the front door!
