Located next to historic Nied’s Hotel, rental revenue supports its revival, reopening in Summer 2026. The space Welcome to Drifterland, a unique home designed as a homage to Slim Forsythe and the creative legacy of Pittsburgh. The guest space spans the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors and offers plenty of room for groups and families. Bedrooms 1 & 2: Each features a queen bed with a twin trundle underneath. Main Suite (3rd Floor): Includes a queen bed, twin fold-out chair, kids’ nook, and a spacious walk-in tile shower with double vanity. The living area is designed for gathering, with a window bar, sleeper sofa, and comfortable seating. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, and gas stove with hood. A full bathroom and vanity area are conveniently located off the main living space. Laundry facilities are located in the basement and are shared with Slim Forsythe, who lives in the separate basement Artist’s Inn unit. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors feature radiant heat and air-conditioning, with additional floor fans, ceiling fans, a 3rd-floor mini split, and blackout curtains provided to keep the interior comfortable for all guests. Parking: Street Parking on Butler Street and surrounding streets. *Please be aware of any signage indicating that an area is paid parking. *Guests are responsible for parking fees and other fees that result from unpaid parking fees or parking in unauthorized areas. Other things to note Important: This home includes a separate, occupied basement apartment with a long-term resident. The basement has its own entrance and does not share living space with guests. Shared laundry is located in the basement. This is disclosed throughout the listing. Cancellation Policy Our cancellation policy depends on the length of your stay and the platform you book through. Please be sure to review your booking platform's policy for full details. • Standard stays (<30 nights) on all platforms: Reservations canceled within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable. • Peak dates (holidays or local events): A stricter policy may apply and will be shown at the time of booking. • Mid-term stays (30 nights or more): The first 30 days are non-refundable for reservations canceled within 7 days of check-in. Full payment for the first month is due at booking. Consecutive month's payments are due 14 days before the start of the next 30 day booking period. 30 days’ notice is required for cancellation of consecutive months. We understand that plans can change. For any booking canceled within the non-refundable window, we always do our best to rebook any unused nights. If we're able to rebook, we’re happy to offer a partial refund based on the new reservation amount for those dates (which may be lower than the original rate paid). Refunds for rebooked nights will be processed only after the new guest’s stay is complete and payment has been received. Questions? This must be completed prior to receiving check-in instructions and entry codes. It’s part of our standard safety and verification process and helps us comply with local laws and insurance requirements—ensuring a smooth and secure experience for everyone. ⸻ Early Check-In / Late Check-Out Policy We’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests when possible, depending on our cleaning schedule and same-day reservations. If you’d like to guarantee an early arrival or a late departure, we offer the option to add the night before or after your reservation at a 50% discount, as long as those nights are still available at the time of your request. Please reach out in advance so we can check availability and make arrangements! ⸻ Pet Policy We welcome well-behaved pets with an additional pet fee charged per pet, per reservation. For 30+ days stays, the pet fee is charged monthly. Please notify us in advance if you’re bringing a pet. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets and ensuring they do not disturb neighbors. ⸻ Damage & Incidentals FeeA non-refundable $50 fee is included (may appear as a “management fee”) to help cover minor incidentals and small extra cleaning. This is not insurance and does not cover major damage—guests remain responsible for significant repairs/replacements and rule violations. For stays over 30 days, an additional $50 fee applies every 30 days
