The Fishermans Cottage,Slane

This bijou cottage is ideal for weekends away ,for couples or small families or ideal for Anglers who would like to fish on the river Boyne on our own private waters Nestled in the grounds of the beautiful Rossnaree House and Gardens you can enjoy walks by the river ,relax in the cottage with views to Newgrange,bicycle s available , Kayak trips can be arranged and a Fishing guide is available .All fishing is available on request only The space Oil-fired heating is on a time switch . There is a wood-burning stove with enough wood for a few days, after which Guests can buy sacks of wood for 10 euros a sack. Fishing is available on request only, and a fishing guide is available; there is an extra cost for fishing. Parking is in the yard in an allocated place for the cottage. There are lovely walks on the land, so please keep the gates closed after entering a field . The front of the house and front garden is reserved for guests of Rossnaree House only . Any party or BBQ please communicate with us 2 days in advance Guests who stay for a month or longer will be supplied with fresh sheets and towels weekly
