The space With its main cottage and two sleeping cabins, Sprucehaven Lodge is the ideal destination for families and groups of friends looking to escape to nature and enjoying a traditional cottage experience with some perks. The main cottage features two cozy bedrooms, an inviting eat-in kitchen, and a spacious living room complete with a wood stove and a large country dining table perfect for sharing meals and stories. A loft area overlooks the living room, offering additional sleeping space, while the adjacent sleeping cabins provide unique lodging options for guests. The first sleeping cabin (the Bunkie) has sleeping accommodations for 4-5 people — ideal for teens who want their own space to "camp out" and enjoy a bit of independence. The second, more rustic cabin is self-contained, offering two bedrooms, and a 2-piece bathroom (the kitchenette in the guest cabin isn’t operational). Its cozy living room opens to stunning views of the beach area and waterfront, making it a perfect retreat for those in your group who crave a quiet escape. The outdoor space at Sprucehaven Lodge is equally enchanting. The covered deck on the lakeside of the main cottage is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails, while the fire pit between the deck and the water’s edge invites you to enjoy cozy nights beneath the stars. The beach volleyball court in the main yard adds an extra element of fun for guests who love a bit of friendly competition. Kids will adore the shallow, sandy walk-in at the beach, which makes for safe and enjoyable swimming. While the larger centers of Burk’s Falls and Huntsville offer plenty in the way of entertainment and dining, the small town of Sprucedale, less than 10 minutes away, has a convenience store for the basics and wine/beer. It’s mostly clear of weeds in the swimming area. Water is approximately 2-3’ deep off the dock. Close-By Attractions Screaming Heads.
