Sliding glass doors lead from the balcony into the double-height living area which has traditionally beamed ceilings and tiled floors. There is a corner sofa and a fold-down dining table. The kitchen is separated from the main living area by a small breakfast bar and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There are several stunning beaches within walking distance, including the famous Spiaggia Punta Volpe (6 minutes walk) and Spiaggia Hruska (7 minutes walk) In the summer months, Porto Rotondo’s marina (20-minute walk) is home to some of the most expensive yachts in the world. An evening stroll around the port offers a glimpse of the international jet set. From June to August the town hosts “Porto Rotondo in Fiera” a delightful street market that takes place every Wednesday morning. After a day by the sea visitors are spoiled for choice with the many excellent restaurants in the town. For self-catering there are supermarkets and smaller shops close by. Alternatively, in Olbia, you can explore vibrant farmers' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended.
