Welcome to Roost. Located in the beautiful leafy surrounds of The Gap at the base of Mt Glorious only 12km from the Brisbane CBD. Roost is a self contained guest accommodation in a newly renovated space offering comfort and style within a peaceful back street location. Close by is the beautiful Enoggera Reservoir and Walkabout Creek Nature centre at the base of D’Aguilar National Park. Enjoy hiking/trail running, swimming, kayaking/SUPing, nature walks, bird watching and nature photography. The space Quiet location in your own guest suite with access to pool. Separate tastefully appointed and spacious bedroom. Bedding is of a high quality ensuring a restful and comfortable sleep. Sophisticated lounge area with television and access to games and books. Roosts newly renovated and spacious bathroom feels like the hotel experience. Lounge by the pool or perch yourself at the outside bar area for a wine and watch the sun go down. Wake up to the birdsong and delight in the antics of our regular native bird visitors.The kitchen pantry offers coffee, tea, milk, sugar, olive oil and light breakfast offerings for your stay. Access to laundry facilities. NOTE: Our accommodation is not suitable for pets or children due to the swimming pool/no child proofing and our resident small dog who gets on well with humans but not other animals. IMPORTANT! - There are a small series of steps leading up to the accommodation making this unsuitable for those who are physically unable to navigate stairs. Guest access Private access with separate entry. The space is all yours and you will gain access via a key lock box. The self contained suite is underneath our residence however you will have complete privacy and may not see us at all during your stay. Access also to the landing outside your room and pool area. Upstairs deck area attached to the main house is not for use. We highly value and respect our guests privacy and our own. Street parking out the front. Other things to note The Roost is a space for 1 to 2 adults only. We are becoming an ideal destination for those attending local funerals and weddings! Note: due to a small series of steps we are not suitable for those physically unable to navigate stairs.
