Spacious family home with wood-burning fireplace on the edge of a beautiful river. The comfort of the chalet and the amenities of the suburbs; 25 minutes from downtown Montreal, 20 minutes from the Airport, 10 minutes from the Playground Poker club. Small quiet residential area between marsh, river and forest. Lots of young children and great social cohesion. The house offers a magnificent view of St-Bernard Island and the river that will quickly take you to Lake St-Louis. The island is an exceptional wildlife refuge, a small paradise for nature enthusiasts and especially for ornithologists. The river is navigable and suitable for swimming. The ground floor is open air, very friendly and warm. Bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom is open to the mezzanine (!!!WARNING!!! Lots of light in the morning..!) and has a king bed, the second is closed and it has two beds; a double and a queen. An apartment is also located on the ground floor, it is independent of the house with the exception of the entrance, laundry room, balcony and backyard. He's housing my father. The bathroom is under renovation but it is functional and there is also a shower room on the ground floor. !!! No TV but you can connect your computer to a projector (via HDMI cable provides and sound system via Bluetooth). !!! Basement under renovation; access prohibited for your safety until further notice. !!! The children of the neighborhood are used to coming to visit. They will be notified of your occupancy but some will forget to be and will therefore come to knock on your door. !!! The main entrance has an electronic lock. The two ground floor apartments are separated by soundproofed interior doors but do not lock. Other rental options for longer term. Please let me know if the dates on the calendar are not suitable for you. Guest access - Open air from the ground floor. - The bedrooms, office and bathroom on the second floor. - A parking space (other spaces available nearby). Shared Rooms - Entrance hall. - Washing room. -Balcony Access to the basement is prohibited. Other things to note Functional wood fireplace and you will have enough wood at your disposal.
