Hilltop Hideaway

Hilltop Hideaway is a 740 square foot, fully furnished, lower level, studio apartment. The rural, farm environment is surrounded by forest; tucked in the Glacial Hills of Antrim County. It’s a perfect place if you want quiet, solitude, and a private place to roam through the 33 acres of open sky, rolling hills, an antique apple orchard, and whispering pines. 2 miles to downtown Bellaire, 50 minutes to Traverse City or Gaylord. Adjacent to the Glacial Hills biking and hiking trails. The space The property is hilly and has 2 marked trails, each 1 mile in length, trial maps available. There is a community fire pit . All firewood is provided. Camp fires, are allowed with permission, weather permitting. In addition, there is trailer parking available for boating enthusiasts. And a 4' x 8' outdoor, wooden platform for your yoga practice. We also rent The Hut, a quirky homemade camper that sleeps two in a full size bed. Find the listing here on AirBnB. Guest access The entire downstairs apartment and all of the surrounding outdoors are accessible to the guests. We live upstairs. We ask that the upstairs and the out buildings remain private. Other things to note Because the apartment is below our living space, guests may hear the sounds of us going about our daily activities. We will be mindful not to make loud noises, yet can't prevent if something might fall on the floor or otherwise create a loud-ish noise. We abide by quiet hours of 11pm-7am and appreciate that our guests do the same.
