The space Welcome to your idyllic home away from home in the heart of Bernal Heights! Before even stepping into our 1-bedroom gem, guests will find a large and private deck, perfect for sipping a morning coffee or enjoying a nice glass of wine in the evening, all while surrounded by beautiful views. Once inside, guests will be greeted by an abundance of natural light, casting a warm glow upon the space. We've kept as many original and natural elements inside of our 100 year old home while bringing in plenty of modern conveniences. The kitchen is fully equipped (i.e. gas stove/oven, full-sized fridge, plenty of counter space, etc.), we might say especially so for fellow coffee drinkers - considering the 3 available moka pots along with a classic drip coffee maker! The dining table and living room area each seats 3 comfortably to allow guests to enjoy southern-facing views or to sit back and stream their favorite movies on the Smart TV. Within the bedroom, we've brought in a brand new queen-sized bed, wall-mounted sconces for relaxing evening lighting, and plenty of space for guests to hang their clothing within the closet. From the bedroom, guests can not only access the bathroom with a combination tub and shower, but they can also access the private backyard. Being just behind Bernal Hill, the backyard provides direct access to the awe-inspiring Bernal Hill via a small fence, where trails await your exploration and breathtaking scenery unfolds. *Note: this trail/walkway is a bit uneven and we recommend that guests with balance issues go out the front door and around the block to the marked public trails instead. Our home offers a rare blend of privacy on a quiet street, coupled with the convenience of being just a few blocks away from the vibrant heart of Bernal Village. Picture yourself seamlessly transitioning between indoor and outdoor living, while relishing the joys of a sunny, warm weather lifestyle that Bernal Heights is renowned for! Guest access Guests will have full and private access to the main part of our home but please note, there's a lower-level area of our home (kept completely separate from the guest space) that we use as storage. Other things to note - The backyard is private and while we've made a trail leading up to Bernal Hill, we recommend caution and do not recommend this trail for guests with balance issues. - Coyotes live on Bernal Hill. While we're happy to accommodate guests with dogs, guests are required to accompany their dogs when in the backyard and to exercise caution and to not approach wildlife.
