Dune and Lake House

DUNE ACCESS LAKE ACCESS DRIVE IN Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, with a panoramic view of S Tenmile Lake. Where you can swim or bring your own boat or jet skis and enjoy docking under the boathouse or rent a watercraft of your choice, from Ringo’s Lakeside Marina. Cruise the lake, stop into Osprey Point Pub N Pizza by boat, go fishing, soak up the sun. Next hit the dunes on your Side-by-Side. 15 minute ride from the house, or head down to Spinreel Dune Buggy & ATV Rentals. The space Driving In- To access this house, you will drive in on a 2 mile gravel road that is well maintained but has some steep and twisty areas, with that said, we recommend you drive 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicles. 4x4 is necessary if you are towing a trailer and not recommended if you are not advanced at towing and turning around. This driveway can be tricky, it has 3 tiers, you must back trailers in on the upper level of the driveway outside the upper garage. You do not have access to garage, just the parking area. The House Main Level- Here you will walk into the entry way that has stunning wood work top to bottom. Continuing to the living room with massive windows overlooking S Tenmile lake with your own Boathouse to use. This is also where you will find a beautiful kitchen to cook in, fully equipped, for the whole family. The Kitchen features a double oven, gas cooktop, large island, pantry, and full bar area with a separate sink and small drink fridge. The dining room has a large dining table, also overlooking the lake. There is a 1/2 bath on this level for everyone. Further on the main floor is a master bedroom and bath. This has a Queen bed with a twin trundle bed underneath. Alongside is its own private bathroom, with a shower, Jacuzzi tub, vanity, and toilet. There is also a private porch off this master, that looks into the charming and colorful dahlia garden during the spring and summer months. Upper Level- As you walk up the wood staircase you will enter the other master bedroom to the right. Here you will be greeted by a gas fireplace, a sitting area with a couch, and a Queen bed. As you enter the master bath, there is a stacked washer and Dryer with walk in closet. Additionally, you have the fireplace also in the bathroom, with an old clawfoot bathtub and walk-in large shower. walk across the skyway to the other part of the upper floor where there's an open area featuring a Queen bed and across the way a Twin bed with another 3/4 bath for this area. Lower Level -This area is separate from the main part of the house and has its own access door, located on the lower deck. Here you will find 3 built-in bunk beds for the kids, (they are not full size) with a couch and TV. Through the next door is a Queen Bedroom with a 3/4 bath. You will also find a mini fridge and microwave for use. Dune Access- If you have your side-by-sides or 4-wheelers and plan to access the dunes, it's about a 10 minute ride from the house. If you have Paddle tires, the staging area is at Sprinreel entrance, the same entrance you use, if you ride straight from the house. The road to the dunes will eat paddle tires. The dune access is only recommended for side-by-sides with street tires. Guest access You have access to entire house except, maid areas and garage. A lower apartment is available for an additional price, with separate access, Sleeps 4+. Contact host for pricing and details. These areas will be locked. Other things to note This is a Child Friendly home but does not have childproofing-No window guarding or gating to the water and dock.
