Island Delight

Island Delight is exactly that, delightful. A family vacation home located in a gracious, friendly gated community on Harstine Island. Our home has a magical view overlooking Puget Sound and directly across to majestic Mt, Rainer. Since it is also used by our family it is totally furnished and equipped with everything you may need for a wonderful vacation. It is spacious and inviting. It is peaceful and serene. A place your entire family would enjoy. The space Bedroom 1 is on the upper floor with adjacent loft space. It has a king size bed with adjoining private balcony, antique dresser, wardrobe and rocking chair, plus two closets. Private bath with an oversize tub. The loft area has a full size sofa bed plus several folding sleeping mats, especially good for children. The loft area also has many books and a video player plus many videos. The loft overlooks the great room below. Downstairs you will find one bedroom with queen size bed. One bedroom with two twin beds and a side room bedroom with queen sofa bed. Side room also has a tv and a DVD player. Many DVDs. It also has a large bathroom with walk in shower. The living room is actually a great room with tall ceilings and with floor to ceiling windows. It has a space for eating or playing games. It has a telescope which you are free to use. A wood stove sits in the prow front. Wood is provided in outdoor woodshed. The kitchen is fully equipped and looks out onto living room area ' A dinning room is through glass french doors from the great room area. It has dining table seating 8 to 10 people. It also has a desk in the corner to provide a dedicated work space. Through the dining room a door leads to back porch area where you will find gas grill and the wood shed. The front of the house is surrounded by a deck area where you will find table with umbrella for outdoor dining. It also has seating for just watching the beautiful Puget sound. Guest access Our property is actually our personal family vacation home. We have removed most of the personal items however, there are spaces that are listed as personal. Please respect. The washer and dryer are located in the garage. It can be accessed either by outside door or door from the twin bedroom. Other than laundry facilities we ask you do not use garage. Since we are on an island we have emergency water and other supplies stored in that area. We also have a small sailboat for personal use. The bikes hanging from ceiling have not been used in several years. The kitchen is set up with an abundance of dishes and other amenities. You are free to use any or all of them. There are table linens in hall closet. There are spices, canola oil, and other supplies on shelves. You are free to use as needed.
