Charming cabin on Little Akers Pond. Room for the whole family or group of friends. Peaceful retreat close to hiking, snowmobile, and ATV trails, and a short drive to Sunday River and Mount Washington. Quiet community on a dirt road between Little Akers and Akers Ponds. Little Akers is no motorized vessels allowed, with swimming, kayaking, canoeing, SUPs, etc. Room for several vehicles. Open concept living area. Comfortable bedrooms and finished (unfurnished) basement. Deck and screen porch. The space Cabin in the woods with 3 bedrooms: - 1 downstairs with a trundle daybed (2 twin beds). The bottom trundle can be rolled to reposition. It could be moved out into the living area, but not easily. This room has a closet (with some things in it) and a dresser. There is a bathroom across the hall from this bedroom. - 1 large room upstairs with a king bed and large closet, plus a dresser. This room has a large window that faces the pond (through the trees). - 1 smaller room upstairs with a double bed and a vanity with drawers. - The two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom that is accessible through both rooms. - There is also an air mattress available and can be used anywhere. Double size. Sheets and towels are provided. There are also some small goat-milk soaps in the upstairs bathroom closet, and liquid hand soap at all the sinks, but no other toiletries are provided. The two bathrooms both have showers only. The downstairs shower is an accessible Jaccuzzi set-up with a seat, handheld showerhead, and multiple additional jets. Hot water tank is in the basement. Downstairs has an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. Cable TV, games, and puzzles are available. A set of French doors lead to the screened-in porch, which leads to the furnished deck with a gas grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes, cups, and glasses. There's a microwave and toaster, and a small dishwasher. Dish soap and dishwashing detergent is provided. The daylight basement is finished but not furnished. There is a washer and dryer down there, and an area rug, plus French doors that lead outside to to underneath the deck and to the path to the pond. The pond is visible through the trees and there is a short path down to the water. There's a dock with a ladder in warmer weather. The driveway is spacious and there is room for several vehicles to park. There are fans in every room to circulate air, which helps cool in the summer and push hot air down in the winter. The heat is propane, provided by two Rennai units, one in the main living area and one in the basement.
