This fully equipped, peaceful and independent duplex is in the center of the village in Pietraserena. La Casa d'Eden welcomes you in this beautiful Corsican village, at an altitude of 700 m, between Aleria and Corte (mountain road). The sea is 30 minutes and 20 minutes from the river by car. You can take the hiking trails and enjoy the "Chez Mado" bar and the "Chez Paul" pizzeria all year round. This studio is ideal for 2 people but can accommodate 4 people at no extra cost. The space The gate should always remain closed to prevent a cow, wild boar or goat from coming to feast on the plants or vegetables there! Guest access You have the entire ground floor with its large terrace for a total of 100 m2. Other things to note Cleaning is your responsibility! I only take care of the linen, floors, dust and general check of the house and terrace. It is best to plan your shopping before your arrival and to bring cash 💶, or possibly checks, as our villages are not equipped to accept credit cards 😊 There is a convenience store in the village of Pancheraccia, at the bar, 5 minutes away. You have to ring the bell if no one is there, and it is best to go there at aperitif time😁. In Pietraserena, we have a bar, "Chez Mado", open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 4 PM to 11 PM or later, 7 days a week; a pizzeria open from May to early November in the evening from 6 PM to 10 PM, except in August, when it is open 7 days a week from 6 PM to 11 PM; a butcher passes by with his truck on Wednesdays between 2 PM and 3 PM every week; and a baker delivers good bread around 10:30 AM every day, closed on Mondays (it is best to order the day before). The bakery is a 10-minute drive away in the village of Focicchia and is open until 12 PM. You will also find a very friendly little bar/restaurant, "A Casetta", open every day for lunch and dinner, except Monday evening and Tuesday. Between Aleria and the turnoff to go up to Pietraserena, there are fruit and vegetable vendors and local products. Don't hesitate to stop there, and there is a restaurant that also serves as a pub, with a swimming pool, "Le Bananas", just before the intersection, 20 minutes away to go up to the village. Parties are organized there regularly, as well as "Pool parties" all day on Sundays 😉 The village is supplied by its own controlled drinking water source. We ask that you use it wisely; the analyses are posted at the town hall! If you are arriving from Bastia, it is advisable to shop at Leclerc Folelli or Alistro because it is the cheapest, and also to get gas at the last gas station before leaving the village. Every Thursday, during the summer period, there is a large market with local products in Linguizzetta, where you will find good products, and one at the Fort d'Aleria on Saturdays!
