Beautiful, Winter Retreat + Hot Tub

A luxurious retreat, nestled in our beautiful, large garden in the High Weald of Kent. Bookings include a Hot tub session, fire pit + sparklers & Continental breakfast. TV + firestick & Sonos sound system. Cosy faux log burner. Pool, hot tub, Spa Cabin, fire pit, hammocks, adult slide, swing and tree top lounger with stunning views & sunsets. Extra charge - cream teas & massage treatments. Fantastic location, quaint Kent villages, National Trust properties, Castles, Steam trains and beaches. The space We are located in the countryside on the outskirts of Staplehurst so guests are advised to arrive by car as it’s a 20 mins walk from the station along an unlit road. Sage cottage is set in our garden next to the pool. It is open plan, beautiful, light, cosy and peaceful. The decor changes from Summer to Winter and looks magical at Christmas time. The King size double bed can separate into two single beds. The windows have privacy film. Two windows look out over the pool, garden and our home. The other two look over the garden, our paddock. It has its own large deck with table & chairs. There’s also a table & chairs infront of the cottage. The fire pit area is adjacent to the cottage and the cool hammock area is just behind. The side/entrance gate is locked at 10.30pm your keys include a gate key. Guest access Guest’s keys are for the side/entrance gate and Sage cottage. The gate is locked at 10.30pm. Guests are welcome to explore the garden, fruit & vegetable garden, use the oak tree top lounger and use the table and chairs on the bottom level. Hammocks are available in the summer. Guests are kindly asked not to go through the white arch gate to the rose garden Other things to note Stay includes a double hot tub session (approx 30 mins) on one day of your stay, available from midday to 7pm. Extra sessions are available for an extra charge. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own hot tub towels and to please shower and not to apply body lotions before using the hot tub. The pool is open end May to mid September , weather permitting. In Winter the booking includes the fire pit & sparklers on one evening. There is a large Sainsburys supermarket just 5 minutes away by car. It is on the A229 near Staplehurst train station. Restaurants in Staplehurst - The King’s Head pub, Jumeira (Indian restaurant), Bleu (steak house). There’s also a Chinese takeaway & a fish & chips shop. Frankie’s farmhouse shop, the opposite end of Clapper Lane has a nursery, restaurant & wonderful shop. Staplehurst has a variety of shops & a pharmacy. We recommend visiting Kin Coffee (locally roasted coffee & homemade cakes) & the Made by Kent shop full of interesting & beautiful gifts, all hand crafted.
