Guest access This beautifully renovated 1835 alpine chalet is nestled in the heart of a pasture, located at an altitude of about 1400 meters, 200 meters above the village of Les Diablerets, and about 2.7 kilometers from the train station, the village center and the ski slopes. By car, it only takes 5 minutes from the train station to reach the chalet, but if you prefer to walk, allow at least 30 to 35 minutes, especially for the more athletic. Nestled on the north side of the valley, it enjoys a south-facing exposure, offering optimal sunshine all year round. In addition, several parking spaces are available just 50 meters below the chalet, although access to the chalet itself is only possible with a 4x4 vehicle. It is essential to note that in the middle of winter, the access road is maintained by the municipality up to about 150 meters below the chalet. However, it is imperative to have winter tires to access the chalet safely. Prepare to encounter snow between December and March, and make sure you are equipped to walk the last 150 meters if necessary. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Please note that this chalet is located in the mountains, and in case of heavy snowfall (mainly between December and March), access may become more difficult. Depending on weather conditions, the last 150 meters may only be accessible on foot. Welcome cards, offering promotions on various activities (see the website "wwwalpesvaudoises"), are available at the tourist office when paying the tourist tax. The latter is mandatory and amounts to 3.80 CHF per night per adult from 16 years old, and 1.90 CHF per night per child from 6 years old.
