The house is located in an estate in San Mateo less than 10 minutes from Orotina, it is totally private both the pool and the house will be just for you, it is surrounded by trees and green areas, it has 2 swimming pools and a comfortable and spacious social area. It's a quiet, safe place. The property is about an hour from several beaches such as Puntarenas, Jaco, Punta Leona, Playa Hermosa, Herradura and others. The space The house is very spacious, fresh and private, there is hot water, cable TV, internet with WIFI and fully equipped kitchen. There are plenty of activities in the surroundings, rivers, walks, restaurants, supermarkets less than 10 minutes away. Guest access They can access the pool area and the entire home except for one room, that’s is properly labeled, the entire yard is available ! We will send you check in and check out instructions as your reservation approaches! Other things to note Important information about VAT in Costa Rica In Costa Rica, the Airbnb platform does not allow VAT to be broken down within the published price. For this reason, once your reservation is confirmed, we must send you an additional payment request corresponding to 13% VAT on the total amount of the reservation. This tax is mandatory and we must report it directly to the Treasury. Unfortunately, this is the only way Airbnb offers us in Costa Rica to manage the collection of this tax. We appreciate you taking this into account before confirming your booking. Important House Rules 1. Parking and Access Park only on the left side of the property, once you pass the main gate. Parking in front of the house is not allowed, as this damages the lawn and garden. If you need to unload the vehicle, you can do so on the left side, where there is a designated space for it. The entrance street has a paved part and a gravel part. It is in good condition and is completely passable with low vehicles, as long as they enter slowly and with caution. If you have a high vehicle, you are also welcome, but it is not necessary. 2. Kitchen and Shower The kitchen works with gas and will be activated before you arrive. If you are not familiar with its use, you can contact us and we will be happy to explain it to you. The showers have hot water, but it may take a few minutes to come out. Just have to wait a little bit. 3. Recycling and Waste Use recycling bins properly. Do not mix food waste with recyclable materials. If the kitchen bag is full, you can leave it in the large black dumpster, located near the laundry room. Recycling bins are also located in the same area. 4. Noise and Music Keep music and noise at a moderate level, especially after 5:00 pm. After 10:00 pm, the volume should be low enough not to be heard beyond the area where you are (house or pool). Professional sound equipment, such as that used by DJs, is not allowed. The property has a decibel meter that triggers an alarm if the permitted volume is exceeded. If it is activated, simply turn down the volume and the alarm will turn off in a few minutes. This will continue to sound as long as the noise level is not adequate. 5. Use of the pool Glasses, bottles, and glass objects are not allowed in the pool. If glass or similar objects are found at the end of the stay, a penalty will be applied for safety reasons. The grill should only be used in the cement area near the boat. Never place it on wooden floors, as it poses a fire hazard. The small pool is not a jacuzzi; it only functions as a waterfall to the main pool. There is a cordoned-off area with yellow tape that should not be used. It belongs to another property and is being repaired. 6. Other Important Reglas Do not pick lemons or avocados from the trees. They are part of a harvest intended for commercial use. Do not throw cigarette butts in green areas, as they represent a fire risk and are in bad taste.
