The attached garage is unavailable for guest use. Other things to note Additional Charges: An extra charge of $45 per person per night will apply for guests exceeding 15 in number (includes children over 2 yrs) Up to 2 pets are allowed, each weighing no more than 35 lbs. There is a pet fee of $25 per pet/per day. House Rules: Parties and events are strictly prohibited. The primary guest booking the property must be 25 years of age or older. No shoes inside the house. Bring your beach towels. Please do not take/use regular bath towels for the lake as it's difficult to get the stains out. Damaged towels will have to be reimbursed by the guests. Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Unregistered guests are not allowed. Liability Disclaimer Guests acknowledge that they are responsible for any accidents or injuries occurring on the property. The owner accepts no legal or financial responsibility. Guests assume all risks associated with recreational activities and agree to hold the owner harmless. General Etiquette Use placemats and coasters on the dining table at all times. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the bedrooms. Adhere to noise curfews. Respect check-in and check-out times. Take care of furnishings; damages exceeding the security deposit will be charged. Do not rearrange the furniture. Keep the home tidy and wash all dishes before departure. Illegal substances are prohibited on the premises. Septic System Guidelines Do not exceed the approved number of guests, including day visitors, to avoid overloading the septic system. Only flush toilet paper; do not dispose of feminine hygiene products, tissues, baby wipes, paper towels, or grease in the sink. Security Surveillance cameras are installed outside the building for safety and to monitor guest check-ins. Garbage and Recycling: -All garbage must be removed from the property before check-out. No exceptions. -Do not leave garbage outside to avoid attracting wildlife. - Use the provided access card hanging by the entrance to dispose of garbage at the designated dump yard and return the dump card to its location on the property. A fee will be levied if the dump card is not returned. -Separate recycling materials (blue bags) from regular garbage and kitchen waste (clear white plastic bags). Black garbage bags are NOT accepted in Bancroft. -Bancroft has strict recycling regulations, with fines up to $500 for non-compliance. Important: -The municipality has updated its garbage policy to be in line with the provincial rules and is NO LONGER ACCEPTING RECYCLABLE MATERIALS (including bottles, cans, cardboard, plastics, metals, etc.) at the local waste disposal site. The garbage dump card we’ve provided is valid only for regular household waste and does not cover recyclables under the new guidelines. -To avoid any issues at the landfill site, please do not mix recyclables with regular garbage. If the two are combined, the site may require you to separate the materials and take the recyclables with you. - In light of this, we kindly ask that you take any recyclable materials with you upon your departure.
