Oceanfront Surf Condo w/Pool, Hot Tub, Gym, Sauna

Enjoy a slice of heaven in this new 2BR /2BA condo perched above the ocean on a quiet hillside in the desirable El Gavilan Villas, with access to its pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and rooftop yoga. You’ll be waking up to the sound of waves crashing, finishing the day with mesmerizing sunsets from your private balcony with breathtaking panoramic ocean views. Condo is a quick walk to famous Los Cerritos surf break and fully equipped for a fun day at the beach including surfboards/boogie boards. The space Open the front door and take in the magnificent view of the ocean and hillside from the sliding glass doors. Walk past the fully stocked kitchen into the spacious living room, where you can relax on the comfy sofa in front of the Smart TV. Step onto the balcony area overlooking the pool and hot tubs, and listen to the crash of the waves. A private outdoor BBQ, firepit, and ample patio furniture make this more than just a deck. Step back inside and enter the master bedroom. A plush king sized bed awaits you, as well as a spacious bathroom and shower. This sanctuary comes with its own TV and blackout shades to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The second bedroom comes with a queen sized and a twin bed, and has its own spacious bathroom and shower. A third half bathroom ensures plenty of space along with a washer and dryer. Much of the furniture throughout the unit is locally made custom woodwork, and the artwork reflects a love for the ocean and Mexican culture. Outside the front entrance you will find a surfboard rack; feel free to use the surfboards and boogie boards, or store your boards there after your session. Guest access During the months of December thru March you likely will see plenty of whales in the ocean as they travel by on their migration. Use the binoculars on the deck to view them closer as they breach and make a huge splash. Strong WiFi in the house will keep you connected to your family and friends back home, or to your work duties if needed. Your stay includes access to the amenities of El Gavilan Villas. Constructed in 2024, the building includes secure, covered parking with a keyless entrance gate. Your fitness goals won’t take a hit as you have a complete workout gym including cardio machines and a wide selection of weights and benches with panoramic ocean views including a rooftop yoga area steps away from the condo. Steam rooms are in both the men’s and women’s room in the gym.Enjoy a swim in the lap pool overlooking the pacific, or soak away your worries in one of the two hot tubs. Lay out in one of the loungers in the wading pool, or fully relax in one of the mini-cabanas located just below the pool area. Sit with your friends just below this at one of the large fire pits and have your breath taken away during sunset. A short walk leads one down to the secluded beach below the property, where you can escape the bustle of Cerritos main beach, and likely find yourself all alone. Watch the crabs scurry about around the tide pools, and watch the waves crash into the rocky shoreline. Cerritos is a laid back surf town where you can find plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants filled with friendly locals and visitors alike. The beach is expansive, and walking south you will find a spot away from the hustle and bustle of the main area if you seek some solitude. The surf is suitable to all levels of surfers, and there are multiple opportunities for surf lessons or rentals. Loungers and umbrellas are available to rent, and you will also find a few beach bars offering snacks, meals, and plenty of beer and cocktails. Aside from the beach area, Cerritos has plenty of dining options, from quick and cheap tacos to more upscale sit down restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. A more detailed list of dining options is available in the binder provided inside the casa. Other things to note There are two grocery stores in Cerritos, El Sol and Kimberley’s, both located on the main dirt road heading in. Agricole is a great store for locally grown fruits and vegetables located a little north of Pescadero. A larger El Sol supermarket can be found in Todos Santos, a quick 15 minute drive to the north. Please note that if you arrive in either Cabo San Lucas or La Paz, both these larger urban centers have far more options for shopping such as Costco, Wal-mart, and the many larger Mexican supermarkets such as Freska. Please beware that the Cerritos area consists of only dirt roads with many ruts and bumps and little street signage. A higher clearance vehicle is helpful, as well as an adventurous spirit and a willingness to drive a little slower. Power outages are a common occurrence, and usually brief in nature. We have flashlights and battery powered candles in the condo to help during these episodes. Also please realize that the Cerritos area is currently seeing a big boom in new construction.
