🏡 Modern and family-friendly cottage on Hvaler – near the lake, forest and Skjærhalden 🌊🌲 Welcome to our cabin on Kirkøy, Hvaler – only 5 minutes from Skjærhalden! Here you get both rest and a smile in beautiful surroundings. The cabin is located in a quiet cabin area and was built in 2018, with parking right outside the door – no wheelbarrow or long walk. We respond quickly 😊 The space 🛏️ Amenities and layout: • Open living room and kitchen solution with dining table for 8 people • Kitchen with: dishwasher, stove, oven fridge with freezer, coffee maker • 4 bedrooms – a total of 8 beds • Loft with TV – perfect for playing, gaming (PlayStation 3 with games) or reading a book in peace and quiet • Sonos speakers in the living room • TV in the living room and on the loft • Heat pump/air conditioning • Bathroom with shower, toilet, heating cables and washing machine (running water) Child-friendly solution: Door between living room and sleeping area/loft – perfect for shielding sound when children play, play or sleep. Guest access The entire cabin with large veranda and garden with lawn. Other things to note The cabin is located on Kirkøy, the largest of the Hvaler Islands and offers the best of the Norwegian archipelago: Salt water, svaberg, pine forest and peaceful holiday atmosphere. The area is perfect for families, couples and friends who want a quiet, natural holiday - but a short way to life and activities. Only 5 min away by car is Skjærhalden, Hvaler's "capital" in the summer with: • Grocery store, liquor store • Cozy restaurants, ice bars and galleries • Charming guest harbor and ferry rental with island hopping to Herføl, Søndre Sandøy and other pearls in Hvaler's archipelago • Child-friendly city beach with sand, diving tower and jetties • Bike rental Around the cabin you will find great hiking areas for hiking both in the forest and along the lake. The popular beaches of Storesand and Ørekroken are close by - known for both kiting, surfing and child-friendly swimming. It is also only: • 5 min by car to Hvaler Golf Course (with restaurant) • 5 min by car to Edholmen Marina. Here you will find a guest harbor, two restaurants and a roof terrace with a pool. The marina has live events and concerts during the high season. • 5 min by car to Hvaler guesthouse - restaurant and summer concerts. • Short distance to Ytre Hvaler National Park with marked trails • Hvaler has both taxi and boat taxi. Bus connection to/from Fredrikstad and Oslo.
