Welcome to our Mountain Modern Eco-House in Chicken Hill! Steps away from the River Arts District and the French Broad River greenway and a short walk to downtown and the South Slope brewery scene, this is the perfect place to spend a month or more really getting to know Asheville. Sun-filled rooms with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains feature two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a third bedroom set up as a home office. Perfect for remote work -- and all of it powered by solar panels! The space 1500 sqft, green-certified and solar-powered eco house! The lower-level bedroom features twelve-foot ceilings, a large closet, and a private deck perfect for enjoying the mountain air. This bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own full bathroom off a short hallway. The upstairs bedroom looks out over a quiet residential street and has a vaulted ceiling, plenty of closet space, a queen-sized bed, and a full en suite bathroom. The third bedroom is currently set up as a home office with plenty of works space and fantastic mountain views for inspiration. This room has another large closet, a small balcony, and an ensuite full bathroom. With the air mattress, you can use this as a third sleeping space. The public space consists of a combined living and dining room on the main floor, complete with Jotul gas logs and a television set up for all the streaming services — just log into your account, and you’re ready to go! Mountain views make the balcony dining table a great spot for dinners from spring through early fall. The kitchen is fully equipped with up-to-date, full-sized appliances and everything you’ll need to cook at home when you’re not enjoying Asheville’s amazing food scene! Equipment includes a coffee grinder and maker as well as french press and moka pot coffee makers. All utilities and lawn maintenance are included: gas fireplace, washer/dryer, and dish washer. Level two Grizzl-e EV charger is available for use with a J1772 plug. Telsa or Leaf owners can charge if you bring your own adapter. There are two tiers of discounts for extended stays: 8 weeks and 12 weeks. Discounts are automatically applied by the app based on your date selection. Please be sure to list your pets within the booking request to properly apply the extra cleaning fee. NO STAYS SHORTER THAN 30 DAYS! Guest access You'll have access to the full house your entire stay! Other things to note This fully furnished rental requires a minimum stay of 30 days. Dogs are allowed (no cats). Please book accordingly by letting us know that you will be bringing a pet. We will have a cleaner come every four weeks during the stay to do a short clean (at no extra fee) so you will need to provide access to the cleaner for 1-2 hours. The house will be stocked with the basics when you arrive (shampoo, soaps, cleaning supplies, etc). You will be responsible for any additional needs during your stay. Both front and rear entries have stairs. There is no bathroom on the main floor — this house is not appropriate for people who have difficulties going up or down stairs.
