Guest access During your stay, the entire 1+ acre property is yours to enjoy. Please note there is an owner's/linen closet in the living room and some personal items throughout the home, as we love and enjoy it too! Other things to note We’ve carefully curated antique collectibles to give the cabin a classic camp feel. After a year of decorating, we’ve created a place we hope you’ll feel as comfortable in as we do. Since we have new rugs, animal furs, and visiting little ones, please remove your shoes to help keep everything looking fresh! For summer comfort, we provide a large portable air conditioner in the living area, covering double the square footage. Combined with three new ceiling fans, the cool air circulates so well you’ll still need blankets at night! The AC unit is stored away when temperatures drop. We also have monthly pest and mosquito control service for the property. This quick 5-minute service may happen during your stay, but it won’t disturb you. As expected near the lake, wildlife like mosquitoes and spiders can still make an appearance despite our efforts. We use organic sprays to maintain an eco-friendly approach without compromising your experience. RVs are not permitted due to community rules, but boats are welcome with prior notice. There’s a free boat launch at Waukewan Beach, or you can launch on Lake Winnipesaukee for a small fee. Please note: we do not have a dock or mooring. If you’re bringing a dog, please select the ‘dog’ option at checkout to cover the extra cleaning. Out of respect for the community and because the lake is part of Meredith’s drinking water supply, dogs aren’t allowed on the beach, shoreline, or in the water per the city of Meredith. In case of snow, we’ve arranged for plowing so your stay will be uninterrupted. Please park near the mailbox and avoid the area near the jet ski, as it covers our septic system. During red flag days, outdoor fires — including fire pits — may be restricted due to wildfire risk. We’ll keep you posted if that happens.
