Surf Shack on Hesketh Island

Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $85/adult and $75/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals. The space There's a full size bed in a small loft and a full bed downstairs, with full bedding provided. In the small kitchen, there's a two burner cook stove, dishes, pour-over coffee maker with filters, spices, and dishwashing supplies. There is a wood stove for heat so bring your own firewood. The cabin can be rented with the larger Smokey Bay Chalet for a bigger group. Guided kayaking and kayak rentals ($60/day per tandem, $40 per single), stand-up paddleboards ($40) as well as transportation to hiking in the state park is available. Guest access Guests are welcome to putz around and use the wood-fired barrel sauna on the beach. Please be courteous of guests staying in the Smokey Bay Chalet. Other things to note The cabin is off the grid. There is no electricity or running water.
