Quaint cottage located directly on Long Meadow Pond

Wonderful lakefront cottage with a sun porch, sunny deck, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, beautiful sunsets, and your own private boat dock. Enjoy a quiet family getaway as you relax on the deck while your kids fish and swim. Ideal for families looking to relax and disconnect. The kitchen is fully outfitted and cottage includes a gas grill, heat, and air conditioning. You will also have the use of kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe, and a row boat. Pond only allows electric motors (motor not provided) so it is nice and quiet. We have numerous fishing poles, fishing tackle, and life jackets of all sizes. Includes cable and Wi-Fi. The cottage does NOT include a dishwasher or washer/dryer. The laundromat is named Washerwoman of Litchfield. They can be reached at 860-567-9917. The cottage is located 2 hours from NYC and fifteen minutes from local wineries and beautiful Connecticut sightseeing including hiking trails at White Memorial (White Memorial is a 4000-acre nature preserve with miles of hiking and biking trails--trail map available at the cottage). Wonderful restaurants and shopping are located in nearby Litchfield, CT. We also have many board games, Foosball, old fashioned Atari, a Wii, and air hockey. There is also a host of DVD's and a DVD player, as well. The cottage outfitted with both heat and A/C and also makes a perfect winter get away. The lake is great for ice skating and ice fishing. We are also a short drive to several downhill ski mountains including Mohawk Mountain and Ski Sundown and close by to White Memorial for cross country skiing.
