The Crown Hotel

The Crown Hotel is located in Newton Stewart in picturesque Wigtownshire, in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. It features a restaurant and elegant rooms with original features. The hotel building is 300 years old and our rooms do vary in size and shape. We do like to show a range of room sizes in our photos but this does also mean that our largest rooms can get booked up quickly so we cannot guarentee you will get the room in the picture. The stylish rooms each have a TV and complimentary tea/coffee facilities. The modern bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Located at the front of the hotel, the Queen Street Bar & Restaurant is open to both the public and residents. With booth seats, it is occasionally host to live acoustic music and a live band on a Saturday evening. It features two large TVs and a pool table. With luxurious seating, the Knights restaurant serves an a la carte menu and a selection of after dinner drinks. Surrounded by scenic Dumfries and Galloway countryside, Crown Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Wigtown Bay. Free parking is available, and the beautiful Loch Ken is just a 30-minute drive away.
