The Mountain Refuge is a place for those seeking tranquility, contact with nature and a pleasant climate amidst the beautiful landscapes of Serra da Bocaina. We have a beautiful view of the mountains, where the wind coming from the sea refreshes the environment and brings a unique feeling of freedom. Here you will be greeted by the singing of the birds, the pure air of the mountain and an always cool climate, ideal for those who like cold and starry nights. The site is perfect for couples or solo travelers. The space Rustic cottage for up to 3 people, one room with bedroom and kitchen together, a bathroom and a toilet. Farm with other family houses, one distant from the other, a place with a stream, dam, mountains and walking trails. Guest access Guests are free to explore the property and its surroundings, enjoying a variety of options for hiking and moments of contemplation. Inside the farm, there are quiet roads leading to rural landscapes, ideal for relaxing walks. In addition, guests can walk the trails of the oxen, natural paths that cut through the mountains and offer incredible views. For those who like water and nature, the property has a stream (Jacuí River) and dam, perfect for moments of rest and connection to the environment. The farm is also set in a region of rural paths, allowing visitors to explore the surroundings on foot, taking advantage of the mountain climate and the cozy quiet of the place. Here time passes slowly, the wind blows light and nature presents itself in its purest form. An ideal getaway for those seeking peace and renewal. Other things to note * The rural roads of Cunha have climbs and descents and the stretches of land depend a lot on the time of year, in winter they usually look good because it hardly rains and the city says fix it, in summer it rains a lot the road is with bad and good stretches. On rainy days some stretches of the dirt road can be clay, it depends on the rain, the ideal in times like this is a 4x4 car, but otherwise the road has been in good condition and most of the people who go have a low car. * The Chalet is located in the upper part, on the mountain, if it rains a stretch of the ascent that leads to it is smooth and the car does not go up, so the ideal is to leave the car parked in the lower house and climb a few meters on foot, but as soon as the weather improves the dry road and it is possible to climb with the car. * If the guest wants bed and bath linens for short stays, let us know before we can provide it, but we charge a fee for that. Toilet items such as toilet paper, handmaps, shampoo etc we DO NOT offer, the guest needs to bring. * The internet in every rural area of Cunha is either via satellite or radio, so it doesn't work as fast as in big cities, but so far everyone has been able to use it without problems, including for work.
