Trade Winds Restaurant, Guest House and Gift shop has been open and hosting guests for 32 years. We are a quaint traditional style Caribbean guest house. Sporting original tile floors and decor styles reminiscent of your Abuelas house. One of the longest operational businesses in Vieques. If you are lookin for a comfortable home base with perfect location for your outdoor adventures we’re the spot! We are located on the Malecon in Esperanza, directly across the street from the Caribbean Sea. The space Cozy, clean room with everything you need. Ideal for 1 night biobay, AC, Hot Shower (gets warm on island time;), Private Bathroom. Opens onto a shared outdoor garden patio. Located street level. Limited off street parking, plenty of street parking. Guest access Guest have access to a shared patio area with four other rooms. Guests are welcome to sit in the restaurant area to enjoy the view outside of the posted restaurant hours. Other things to note If you are looking for “fresh” “hip” “modern” “newly renovated” we might not be the place for you. If you are looking for great location, good price, friendly staff and the best food and drinks on the island we’re your spot! Please note that there will be ambient noice from the restaurant during restaurant opening hours. We are walking distance to all Bio Bay operators, shops, restaurants, Sun Bay and Esperanza Playa. Our guesthouse offers a restaurant serving Dinner and Sunday brunch.
