Guest access This rustic, hand-painted wooden cabin offers a cozy interior in a peaceful, rural setting. The bed includes a sturdy mattress with washable protectors, but guests must bring their own linens, towels, and hygiene items due to the remote location, government restrictions and the negative impact industrial washing would present in a preservation area. A screened veranda provides a bug-free work station or alternative leisure/dining space. Old original moss-covered tiles on veranda roof often drip onto the veranda floor during rain or drizzle. When it rains, it's time to go in and snuggle into a cozy warm rainforest magic day. Amenities include a refrigerator, two-burner counter top stove , toaster oven, portable barbeque grill (charcoal not included), an outdoor basin, and a clothesline. Located 17 km from the nearest town, the cabin offers access to on property forest trails, and nearby attractions such as Morro do Canal, Piraquara Water Shed region and the Carvalho Reservatory whose scenic trails and historic construtions are open to the public on weekends. Privacy, responsability and safety are emphasized, with guests assuming total responsibility for their on property and off property activities. Other things to note This property is in a preservation area and no plant, animal or mineral specimens can be legally taken off the property. People interested in contributing to the knowledge base of the local communities are welcome to come and try to get involved in this kind of activity.
