Easy access to attractions, restaurants and public transportation. The space **Living room:** Our bright and spacious living room is equipped with a cozy sofa bed, flat-screen TV and coffee table. Here you can relax after an eventful day or retreat with a book. A dining table with space for six people offers you the opportunity to enjoy your meals in a convivial atmosphere. **Bedroom:** The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, fresh linens and plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. A large wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps provide extra comfort. **Office:** The bright office has a large desk with an ergonomic chair and offers enough space for your laptop, documents and other work materials. A large wardrobe and sofa bed are also available. **Kitchen:** The fully equipped kitchen is modern and functional, including a stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are also provided to make you feel at home and prepare your favorite dishes. **Bathroom:** The bathroom is clean and modern with a spacious shower, sink and toilet. A historic old town is now mostly a pedestrian zone. Numerous street cafes, bistros, restaurants and inns fill it with life and make it a popular meeting place in the region. Here are some of the typical two-story craftsman houses of the fortress period. Characteristic are the narrow house fronts, the wooden shutters and mansard roofs. The Saaraltarm recreational area is a “gift from heaven.” It owes its existence to the Saar breakthrough I, which was realized in 1972 to avert future flood disasters. A 5 km long bank path lines the 10.4 hectare, fish-rich waters, which are also enlivened by water birds of various kinds. Fishing is also allowed here. The casemates were built in 1824-29 as a bomb-proof defense system in the area of the main wall. As earth-covered vaults, they housed combat positions and were used to accommodate soldiers, horses, weapons and provisions. Today you will find a varied selection of gastronomy. An architectural highlight in Saarlouis' cityscape is the Theater am Ring. After extensive renovation and refurbishment, the theater was reopened in 2016 and has since presented itself in a new guise based on designs by Luxembourg architect Francois Valentiny. With its varied program, the Theater am Ring sets accents for the cultural life of the entire region. Public transportation is also easily accessible, so you can easily explore the entire city.
