Free Standing Cottage in Old Mount Pleasant

Lovely modern construction with a queen sized bed, full kitchen and living room. Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach on Sullivan's Island and downtown Charleston. Walking distance (+/- 1 mile) to the Old Village and Pitt St. Park. Privacy blinds throughout and Earth-friendly features including organic towels, sheets, and organic latex mattress & pillows. Extra sleeping space with a fold out couch is available. Bath amenities, filtered water, tea and pour over and drip coffee are provided. The space The building is detached from our main house. The yard is shared with our family (we have a 9-year-old son) living in the main house, and friends occasionally. There is a home office upstairs from the apartment that is not connected and has a separate entrance. The office is used intermittently between 8AM and 6PM during the week and sporadically on weekends. Some upstairs noise (walking, phone calls) may occur during those times. If you are interested in a mid-week stay and need extra days, please message us. We auto-block some days and can often accommodate an extra day on one end or the other. Please also note that we legally can not have more than 3 people stay in this listing, so please don't ask. The only exception would be an infant under 2. Single dogs may be welcome on a case by case basis, please message us for details. No cats please, there are allergy issues. **Please let us know if you have a latex allergy** Guest access You have your own (unpaved) parking spot in our driveway which can hold a maximum of 2 vehicles. Street parking is available intermittently throughout the neighborhood but not in front of the main house. Walking, biking and driving are all easy. Other things to note 5% of proceeds go to Air B&B dot org to help with providing free and reduced cost housing to refugees from Ukraine, Afghanistan and other dire situations all over the world.
