The condo is a 5-minute walk from the beach and world-class surfing and conveniently close to eclectic dining, shopping, and night-life, while still providing a quiet home-away-from-home. This unit sleeps 4 adults comfortably or 2 adults and 3 kids perfectly. Clean, bright, and colorful, this getaway is sure to leave you barefoot and happy! The space Unit 11, what we call the Barefoot and Happy, is located toward the back of the complex and a tranquil place to hang out inside, on the ground-flood patio, by the pool, or the second floor balcony. The air-conditioned living space and well-appointed, renovated kitchen are located on the first floor which also has a half bath and laundry area. The two air-conditioned bedrooms with attached bathrooms are located on the second floor. The master suite has a queen size bed, a stow-away twin trundle bed, full-size bathtub and shower, large closet, and a balcony that overlooks the pool and gardens. The second bedroom suite has a double bed with a twin bunk above, shower, and large closet. There are plenty of places to hang towels, swimming suits, hand bags, clothing, etc. If things aren't quite as clean or dry as you would like, we have a washer and drier for your use. The kitchen table can serve as a desk and the wifi signal is strong for guests who need to stay connected or may desire a working vacation. A handrail along the staircase and grips in the master tub/shower are provided for those who need accommodations. Guest access Guests have access to all portions and amenities of the home except for Owner's closets. Other things to note Grant Gurnee and Jon Dauzvardis, the owners of this home are from Colorado, United States. We conserve and restore rivers, wetlands, and coastal environments for living and are in to making sustainable choices that will preserve the natural resources in which we live, work and play. We chose Costa Rica as a home away from home because of it's extraordinary culture, diversity of habitats, wildlife, and the progressive environmental ethics of the government. To help our guests get the most out of your ecotourism experience now and in the future, we encourage you to be as ecologically responsible and conservation minded as you can be. To assist you with some small, but important conservation measures we: * provide fabric bags in the pantry for your use while shopping and packing stuff to and from the beach to reduce and help eliminate the single use plastics that litter the community and pollute the ocean; * encourage you to recycle when and where possible, and suggest ways that we can improve recycling efforts in our home, complex, and the larger community; * built collapsable patio lounge chairs and a table out of wooden pallets to hang out in; and * pay your hotel sales tax as part of your nightly rental rate which goes toward improving national and local sustainability programs, like purchasing park land and wildlife conservation.
