Furnished with lively particularity and artistic attention, it gives its guests pleasant emotions. The space Freakhouse is an artist's house in a historic building from the early 1900s. It is located in a pedestrian area in the heart of the late Baroque city of Modica (RG), a UNESCO heritage site. Completely renovated, with a communal entrance and two independent apartments, FreakHouse is the ideal place to rediscover the sense of idleness and relaxation and enjoy a breathtaking view of the alleys, roofs and historic gardens of Modica. Furnished with lively originality and studied eclecticism, FreackHouse is above all an artistic dimension. The common entrance welcomes guests in a warm and “Freak” environment, with pictorial and site-specific sculptural works of art, made by the artist Antonio Sunseri in his workshop, Freaklab. A large and comfortable sofa allows you to linger in the contemplation of the works giving guests the opportunity to cross in an original way the size of escape of the holiday. The backbone of Freakhouse is the scale, a design structure made entirely of microperforated iron that adds an industrial touch to the house, surprisingly marrying the Sicilian atmosphere of the early twentieth century with the more contemporary and cosmopolitan one. Through the staircase you reach the first and second floors, each with an independent apartment. Two shelters with an 'artistic perfume', with attention to the smallest details with unique pieces of artistic craftsmanship and curious details. The two apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay and both consist of a living area with kitchen, dining table and armchair bed, double bedroom, bathroom and panoramic balcony on the historic center of Modica, for a breakfast with a view or a romantic aperitif.
