The Locker on Route 66 in Stroud, Oklahoma

This newly remodeled apartment resides 1/2 block from Historic Rt. 66. Tastefully reclaimed space from a 1940's meat market/locker plant, The Locker, exudes that era and Route 66. Most people in the 1940 had little to no freezer space and needed to rent it. Stroud Locker Plant opened in 1946. The Locker today was part of that original refrigerated/freezer space. Floors and ceilings are original from that era. The Locker front door displays the original brass door hinges used for the freezer. The space Your private south entrance invites you into a beautifully appointed living area, kitchen, two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. Free parking.
