Hosting meaningful retreats and celebrations is Villa Tayrona’s specialty. Our experienced, 5-person staff assists with travel planning and pampers guests throughout their stay. With 9 individual bungalows and ample common spaces, groups of up to 24 guests can cherish time together AND enjoy privacy. The vibe at Villa Tayrona? Modern Mexico merged with Bali-style tropical luxury. We are located 7 blocks (walking distance) from the Bucerias beach and 25 minutes from the PVR airport. The space Enjoy the comforts of a resort from inside a colorful Mexican community. A discreet property in the middle of town, Villa Tayrona is walking distance from tacos, the beach, shops, and more. This listing is to rent the entire villa, giving you private access to all common areas and the 9 bungalows. Common areas include: a professional kitchen, an outdoor bar, a spacious terrace, lobby, and the spectacular pool and gardens. Each bungalow has its own special features, like lofts or indoor-outdoor showers. The villa's architecture and decor are as unique as they are elevated. Included in your stay is a bartender, 3 housekeepers, and a maintenance person. Your host, Elly, is here to help with travel planning. Private chef, massages, and other services are arranged upon request. We love to host groups celebrating events like milestone birthday or anniversary celebrations. Guest access Reserving Villa Tayrona means your group will have private access to the whole space, including all 9 rooms and the common areas. Other things to note -Our houseman, Alex, is a professional bartender and experienced concierge who can help set up additional services, mix drinks, serve food, help shop, etc. He works 5 days a week from 9am - 6pm (with an hour off for lunch). -Also part of our House Staff are Reyna, Isabel, Gaby and Fernando, who provide complementary housekeeping services and keep the grounds, pool and common areas beautiful. -Suggested gratuity to split between our 5-person House Staff would be around $150-200 pesos / guest / night. -Private chef services are not included in our nightly rate. Please contact us for Chef Fernando's most updated menus and rates. -The Ginger Kitchen is a large, professional kitchen that our guests can use themselves or where the private chef can work his magic. There are also beautiful, fully equipped kitchens inside of 6 of the bungalows. -Filtered drinking water is provided throughout your stay. -Each bathroom is stocked with bath towels, pool towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and hand soap and body lotion. -You can connect through wifi to our Sonos surround-sound system to easily play your favorite playlists. -Each room has its own AC. -In our garage is a rack of extra accessories for our guests to enjoy, which include board games, beach chairs and umbrellas, yoga mats, pool floats, etc. -We're in a typical neighborhood and it's possible to hear noises like roosters, dogs, neighbors, etc. We provide earplugs for our light sleepers. -We don’t offer laundry services in-house because there are several laundromats close to the villa. They are very affordable, offer 24-hour service, and even fold your laundry. -The rooms do not have TVs, though there is one smart TV in the Agave Apartment (without cable service). All of the rooms do have high-speed WiFi. -Bucerías is a walkable town and we are in a central location. There is, however, a steep hill between our property and the beach. -Since our roofs are made of thatch, smoking is strictly prohibited on our entire property except for a designated smoking area in the garage. No candles or other types of fire are permitted. -We are meticulous about cleanliness. Given the tropical climate and the handwoven, natural thatch material in our roofs, though, it is possible some small insects make an appearance. These are harmless and our cleaning team provides immediate support. -The pool is not fenced in and is dangerous for small children without supervision. -Villa Tayrona is located in a residential area. Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that noise be kept to a reasonable level after 10pm. Please notify us ahead of time if planning an event. We have a privacy-safe noise monitoring system that notifies us and our guests if noise limits are being exceeded. -Our garage fits two vehicles of average size. Street parking is safe and readily available. -We have thrown our whole hearts into creating this space.
