Tropical Nature: Insects, Mosquitoes & Wildlife Being a tropical destination, Bali naturally has insects, especially during the rainy season. We take regular steps to maintain our places and provide mosquito repellent spray and electric diffusers for your convenience. To help keep bugs out, we recommend keeping bedroom doors and windows closed whenever possible. House Lizards: These small creatures may occasionally be seen inside. They’re completely harmless and usually stay out of the way. Geckos: Slightly larger and sometimes visible, geckos are also non-dangerous.
