Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. The main bathroom is downstairs with a walk-in shower and large vanity; and a separate toilet. Brooksea at Balgowan has a wood combustion heater in the lounge room, with an air-conditioning unit in the kitchen and evaporative cooling unit upstairs. The lounge room has a ceiling fan, and there is a wall-mounted fan in the upstairs king bedroom. The downstairs living area is open plan and spacious, with the lounge room, dining and kitchen; and access to the front yard. There is corner sofa seating in the lounge room, with a large television (with USB port), DVD player, CD player, Chromecast and WiFi for guests to use during their Balgowan holiday. The adjacent dining area has a large dining table with seating, and a selection of board games, perfect for rainy days and family holidays. The holiday house has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas oven and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, rain water, coffee machine, large side-by-side fridge/freezer and bar fridge. The kitchen has a range of small appliances including a kettle, toaster, hand mixer, sandwich maker and bread machine. There is a full laundry with a front load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and clothesline in the yard. The undercover entertaining area has a flat plate barbecue and is located adjacent to the living area, and within a fenced area. There is also a fire pit, and guests will need to bring wood to use and check fire regulations. Pets are welcome outside at Brooksea at Balgowan by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay. The accommodation has off-street driveway parking for 4 cars, with room for a boat to be parked in the fully fenced yard. For those wanting to fish the Spencer Gulf waters off Balgowan, the boat launching facilities are only a short drive away, or book a charter with Balgowan Fishing Charters. The Balgowan beachfront is a 5-minute walk from Brooksea at Balgowan, with several paths providing beach access along the esplanade.
