Description
Rudha-na-Craige is a beautiful Victorian house on the banks of Loch Fyne. Built in 1863 by the Duke of Argyll and the ancestral home of the current Duke of Argyll. Rudha-na-Craige was also requisitioned by the Admiralty during the war years when the area was used for naval training adding to its rich history. Lovingly and modernised, our six bedrooms are individually designed with fabrics, furnishings and original antique artwork specially chosen to reflect the character of the rooms. The space Our property is run as an award-winning B&B, but you will have the whole building for exclusive use! All rooms are fully en-suite with lovely powerful hot showers, high grade cotton bed linen and towels. We have an EV charger (chargeable) and a BBQ available on request in advance of your arrival. Your hosts live in a separate annex to the building and may / may not be onsite - but NOT in your area unless assistance is requested. Guest access Rudha-na-Craige is accessed via Main Street South / A83. The grounds are not shared with any other guests so you have full use. Ample off-street parking at the front of the building with an EV charger on the side. You enter via the main door and the inner door is opened via a key fob. Other things to note - No pets allowed - Children allowed by prior agreement only - Absolutely no smoking or vaping anywhere inside the property - No illegal activities or drugs permitted - Accidents happen - please advise us of any damage as soon as possible! + Failure to abide by the above may result in a additional costs or your rental being terminated immediately without any refund due
